Hey there,

I was looking for classes in your area and found this "how to" video for a cookie decorating technique that you can work on at home.

Hope this gives you something new to try while you try to find a class. Good luck.

Check your local cake supply stores. Ours here usually have two a year. Also, check Michaels if you have one. I took a cookie bouquet class there. For now, here are some great cookie books for you:

Toba Garrett (you'll find her glace in the recipe section):

Valerie Peterson (you'll find the Dark Chocolate Rolled cookies from this book in the recipe section):

Autumn Carpenter:

Meaghan Mountford:

I went to the video site cakelady1978 recommended. I liked it. It seems so easy after watching someone else do it. I didn't like having to sign up for something. What did you think about that?

Otherwise, this seemed like a cool way to learn alone. What did you think Laurie?

I also went to yummyarts.com It will be interesting to see their other videos. Yeah, if it's free information it was weird signing up, but if it doesn't cost me, I'll sign up.
