Better Support For Cupcake Bouquet?

just wondering if anyone has found a more supportive way of sticking cupcakes on bouquets other than toothpicks. i found i was using 2 toothpicks per cupcake and sometimes 3.

how about wooden shish kebab skewers??

Those wooden skewers are definitely stronger support than tootpicks, especially if your cupcakes are a bit heavier.

At valentines day one of the lil mom and pop groceries close to me actually had some with little plastic supports. I searched them and was able to find this.

okay, i'm going to check into these. i was worried about dowels, thinking that maybe they might tear the cupcake. i'm not really that familiar with the wooden skewers. could i get those at my local grocery store? thanks for the suggestions!

Plastic coffee stirrers work well too. You can usually find these in bigger grocery stores and definitley at party stores. Good luck!
