Hi All,

I was approached by a local restaurant asking if I would do cakes for parties they book and they are going to let me use their kitchen. They want me to make up some flyers and business cards for them but I don't have a business name yet. I've been having a really hard time coming up with something but one of my friends suggested The Cake Canvas. I thought of making my logo a canvas in the shape of a cake on an easel.

Any thoughts on this name or any other suggestions would be so appreciated!

I really like that idea, and the logo sounds perfect, especially if you are going to be doing out-of-the-box cakes, like 3-D's, etc.

i think its an interesting name.... i am just kinda confused by what a canvas has to do with cakes? are you going to have handpainted cakes? if so, then that fits really well. otherwise, just not sure it fits (to me) but if you like it, then thats all that matters

I do get why..but other people might not understand the canvas part for cakes..

Yeah I thought it might be a little confusing. I planned on using some type of tag line like "Turning your cake into an edible piece of art"

I can't believe how hard it is to come up with a name. And I need to get a name, logo and cards by the end of this week.
