Mabey some of you who are more experienced can help me out some. I have figured that my cakes are costing in raw materials apx $12.84 for a 11x15 single layer sheet. icon_eek.gif I am using fresh ingredients no box mixes but find it very expensive to use quality ingredients and still turn a decent profit while keeping costs down for the customer. Granted these are avg grocery store cost not wholesale or bulk club cost. I am really looking for a source for bulk cake flour does one exist??? Does anyone have suggestions that would help me lower my cost?? thanks

Restaurant supply stores and warehouse stores are good bets for better prices. You may have one of the larger commercial goods suppliers near you, like Sysco or ..I can't think of the other ones just now.

You could ask a local restaurant where they buy their products. The supplier may not deliver for smaller orders, but many allow pick-up, as long as you have a licensed business.
