Saturday Clicks!
Big day here in DFW, the University of Texas plays Oklahoma (college football) at the Cottonbowl, there will be lots of screaming, yelling, drinking and partying here no matter who wins!
It is also my younger DS birthday. It was Texas-OU weekend the year he was born, too! Lots of memories.
He is 49, and not too thrilled at that. LOL
Well, Happy Birthday to him!

Good Sunday morning. Clicking is done for today.
Well, Texas beat Oklahoma, a surprise since Okla. was rated #1 and Texas #5. I'm no big football fan, but this was a really good game. I'm actually a Texas A&M fan
(ex-DH is an Aggie and I lived on campus when we got married all those years ago) but the poor Aggies aren't doing so well this year. Have to pull for Texas (ex-DH went to law school there so I have divided loyalties) when it is somebody other than the Aggies though.

Didn't see any games. Ran around all Saturday looking for candy for my gingerbread house class!! Never made one -- very excited!

I'm taking the class at a little cake supply here. I do mostly cookies, but I've never made a GB house. I'm not very math-proficient so the construction worries me. Bought a TON of cool candies and sprinkles!
Didn't see the Texas game, but did see the Cowboys -- YIKES! I told my DH everyone should blame Jessica Simpleton, especially now since she's gotten fat. (Sorry, not a fan of hers. 
)

I am going to start my clicking now!! My sister just had a scare w/ breast cancer that required 3 mamograms and a biopsy! I myself had cervical cancer in may! So ladies dont ingnore those screenings either! They ARE IMPORTANT!!! If I had not ignored them I would not have had to have a hysterectomy at 37! : ( Cancer is scary no matter what kind it is and to know that you suffer from something that you could have prevented is a feeling I hope none of you ever have to know! GET YOUR EXAMS!!!! I just can't say it enough!
If you have a relay for life yearly event in your area check it out! I went to my first one as a survivor(1 month after my surgery) It is a wonderful event and I encourage everyone to participate!No you don't have to have or know someone who has had cancer to participate. You just have to care!!This is a truly moving event no matter who you are.Last year our event was cut short due to a tornado but i will go back next year and every other year after.

Couldn't log on at all Tuesday. Been baking gingerbread all day today. This was the most gosh awful rolled cookie recipe I've ever had the displeasure of using. Every single piece shrunk. I have no idea if my house will come together.
