My brain has not been with me lately. My recipe for chocolate cake (found on here from gourmet magazine) calls for 2 tsp baking soda and 3/4tsp baking powder. I put 2 tsp baking powder and was starting to put 3/4 baking soda when I realized what I had done.
Soo, I then made it 2 tsp baking soda. My flour mixture now has 2tsp each soda and powder. I don't want to waste all the other ingredients. Should I trash it and start over or will it be ok?
I have a suggestion: Instead of trashing your batter, why not put a little into a collared pan and see what happens? I wouldn't recommend filling hte pan more that 1/4 full, but dont you want to KNOw?? lol I'm curious, pm me if you do this
