I just bought something like this a few weeks ago at the outlet mall... except it's white, 'Starplast' is the brand on it. It was only (I think) $22. But it only holds 24 muffins/cupcakes. Hey, that's a lot better than the 12 you can get in a 9x13 carrier!! Thanks for showing us this awesome gadget!

I got one of these for my birthday and it's totally worth it. You can also use it carry a sheet cake. It's not optimal for really high-topped cupcakes, but you can get a good amount of frosting on without anything getting ruined. I love it!

Awesome!! I may have to order one of these. I'm always bringing cupcakes for demos at the arts/craft store I work at part-time... this would be great to use!!

great idea!! i wish i could take cupcakes to my kids school functions! we are not allowed to bring in homemade goodies!! they all have to be store bought and individually wrapped!!

but i still want it! maybe i could just slip in some goodies on the last day of school! haha

i thought about doing that for my sons christmas party but he acctually got scared!! he said " no!! we arent allowed!! just get some debbie cakes!!"

Looks cool, I have a tupperware one that holds either 24 cupcakes or a 9x13 cake if you flip it over.

just one question........

I the "locking" mechanism sturdy?? Meaning while your carrying the carrier will the locks pop open and whammie,,,,,, cupcakes to the floor!??

I haven't had much trouble. I sort of pinch at the top of the liner to ease them out.

The only way this could happen is if you don't lock it correctly. There are tabs on the cover that snap into a lip on the bottom of the carrier. Although I always check mine several times because I'm afraid of the same thing! icon_eek.gif

I have a Tupperware container that holds 18 cupcakes or a 9x13 sheet cake. It would be nice to have a carrier that would hold more.

I think my mom bought this for me yesterday on QVC. She bought some sort of plastic container w/three levels to hold 36 cupcakes. I'll have to check to see if it was this one.
