So, my Wilton course starts on Monday and I seriously need and want to go but I just wanted to know how long is the class? I mean like 1hr...? The reason Im wondering is because I have a 12 month old and she hates to be watched by my husband so an hour is do-able but it will be hard on my hubby!

Mine was more like 2 1/2 hours if I remember correctly. Definitely more than an hour. But, there's no better time for that little one to get used to someone else watching her! It's so important for you to have your own things and your own "time" when you've got little ones at home. I've got a 3 1/2 year old and a 2 year old and that's EXACTLY why I took the classes starting this past March!

My classes have always been from 7-9... but that's what the signup sheet says... so you might just have to call the store and ask... but I think they are normally 2 hours a night/4 classes a month (or 8 hours per course)...

I chuckled to myself when I read this. I have a ten yr old son, an eight and a half yr old daughter and a 16 month old daughter and I can't wait to start my classes on Friday from 6:30-8:30. I'll get away from the house a bit; away from the kids a bit and doing something I've always wanted to do and enjoy.

Plus it'll insure hubby getting home from work a bit early instead of a lot late. lol

The Wilton classes here are 2 hours each, too. I took Course 1 and 2 at AC Moore and Course 3 at Michael's - 2 hours at both stores. It would be good for all three of you thumbs_up.gif

My classes we all 2 hours long. Enjoy it, how often do you get "alone" time? I know as a mother of 3, I totally enjoyed getting out by myself. icon_wink.gif

Okay I agree with everyone here! Just go don't worry your daughter will be fine and enjoy the time alone, starting from the time you get in the car and leave your house! I start my class next week and I too worry bc I have a 2.5 yr old and almost 11 month! I am not so worried about the 2.5 yr old more my baby bc I breastfeed her and she tends to like the breast! But I am soooooooo LOOKING forward to going! Have fun and enjoy!

Thats just too funny! I totally agree with everyone here. She is getting old enough to get used to her daddy! I think it will be okay because as long as her "shows" are on she doesn't care who's around! She goes into her own Little Einsteins world!
