Just an FYI...

They are worth the cost. I've gotten 2 bookings in 2 days because of my van decal's. I paid $150 for them, and I booked a $600, cake. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

Just wanted to let people know that "free" advertising on your vehicle can work. icon_smile.gif

I agree! I have logo magnets (only about $80/pair) that cover my passenger doors, and I have people ask me for my card when I'm stopped at stop lights, at the grocery store...it's great! And with magnets, if you want to be more low key on your time off, you can remove them and have a regular, clean car again.

I was wondering where you can get these decals. I'm looking for something a little more inexpensive right now. I'm just starting out. Thanks.

They also have magnetic paper you can print up yourself on your printer. I did that and sprayed it with some clear acrylic sealer. I live in Ohio with snow, rain and sun and it stayed on! It will only be 8X11 but it is a much cheeper alternative if you are looking for one.

The scribbled portion is my phone number.
Here's mine. I have one on each window. The don't come off until I take them off. I paid $150 for both installed. I got them at a print shop.

The key to mine, I think that alot of people notice them because of the design. They are orange, and I have a cake there too. I have ALOT of comments on my decals. icon_smile.gif

I have been wanting to get magnets, too, but didn't know how effective they would be. Sounds like they work! I'll be getting a pair, too!

Also, I heard that if you put some type of business ad on your car you can claim that on your taxes...I guess that your car is used for business purposes. thumbs_up.gif

sounds like a great idea, but do you have to have some kind of commercial car insurance, since you are now using your vehicle for business? ive heard that if you are in an accident that people are more apt to try and sue you because of the commercial vehicle. would like to know what others know about these two issues with advertising on cars.
TIA

I just bought myself a licience plate frame that has the top saying "EAT CAKE"
bottom CAKES ON DEMAND
along with my window decal. I also had a magnetic sign for the back of my car that I put on when I am delivering Wedding Cakes it's white with black lettering
WEDDING CAKES
ON
BOARD ( Yes my car is insured for business because I deliver.)

Do you need to be licensed? I'd simply put my business name and phone number.

Hi All!
Just wanted to comment on this one because this is what I do full time....signs, vehicle lettering, magnetics, license plates, etc. If anybody has any questions on this stuff feel free to PM me! Also, I am in Michigan but we ship our stuff so if anyone is interested, let me know! We do a lot of vehicle lettering for businesses. We do a lot of magnetics too but you have to be careful with those because if you don't take proper care, they can ruin your paint job!
