I must say I enjoyed making Christmas cookies this holiday season especially since I just got into making and decorating cookies in October of this year. However, I'm glad Christmas has passed b/c I must have made at more than 25 dozen cookies in a week and a few days. I love to look at them but man was I tired.
Aren't you glad Christmas is over? ![]()
Now its time to prepare for Valentine's Day. ![]()
I know it sounds crazy that we are already thinking of Valentine's day but I bet the stores will have their Valentine's day items out by the end of the first week in January. ![]()
And we call ourselves crazy ![]()
My grocery store had moved Christmas to a small section of aisle and already had Valentine's day stuff out the week BEFORE Christmas!!
I was also in Michaels on Friday and they had some Valentine stuff already going out...
I'm definately thinking about Valentine goodies. One of my co-workers wants me to adapt the marshmallow snowman idea to Valentines.
End of the first week in Jan!? I was out yesterday and its already out! Give us a chance to rest our credit cards people!
YES Thank Goodness its over!!! I about worked myself into the grave and just when I thought I could catch up on some sleep my 4 year old gets sick just in time for Christmas. I have been up 4 nights in a row with him coughing until he gets sick. UGGH I went out yesterday to get more medication and found a few stores had valentines things out already. I wish I could think that far ahead--- I have a order for 8 dozen cake balls for New Years!!
Ok, I did take a trip to Walmart yesterday and they have their Valentine's Day cards out already.
Wow....doesn't surprise me.
I was stressing about VD before Christmas..lol
I have to pull the stops for VD as I'm having my local channel 7 coming to the shop!
YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was thinking of investing in some molds and stuff to do some valentine's goodies for the guys hubby works with to give to their wives. I've seen alotta guys pull it off and do great!!!! but I've also seen a few *coughminecough* screw it up totally! lol and I think if maybe I made up some goodie baskets with a bar of chocolate, some chocolate dipped strawberries, some muffins, some hot cocoa mix, and maybe some small chocolates they could purchase a basket for a nice romantic breakfast in bed or something.... I dunno I'm still grabbing ideas from everywhere lol.... oooooo maybe I could do some risque!!!! chocolates lmao hmmmm google!!! where can I buy those molds at lol
OMG..you can do a prototype and send it in and take orders!!
and do some extra for those last minute guys..that always leave everything for the last minute
You'd do great as most guys hate shopping and love convinience! lol
So..I'm sure you'd sell out...Price accordingly..conveninece is NOT cheap..no matter waht 7/11 says..lol
lmfao 7-11 ain't cheap! lmao $5.~ for a very small bag of flour! not even enough for a full batch of biscuits lol. (bought christmas day!) and $7.~ for a small bottle of children's tylenol with maybe 5 doses in it! gosh! not cheap at all lol convenient yes but cheap heck no lmao ![]()
OMG..that's what I mean..lol
Convenience is NOT cheap!! no matter what the 7/11 want's you to believe..lol
So..charge accordingly and then raise it 10% hahaha
