I must say I enjoyed making Christmas cookies this holiday season especially since I just got into making and decorating cookies in October of this year. However, I'm glad Christmas has passed b/c I must have made at more than 25 dozen cookies in a week and a few days. I love to look at them but man was I tired.

Aren't you glad Christmas is over? icon_lol.gif

Now its time to prepare for Valentine's Day. icon_smile.gif

I did not make quite as many cookies as you - only about 10 dozen and a few cake rolls, but I am also glad it is over. And like you I am already thinking of doing cookie bouquets to sell at work for Valentine's day....... are we nuts?!

Yep, now the hands and wrist can have a bit of a rest. Don't know about the rest of you but I think I did some damage to my left thumb. It hurts like the devil. I'm too afraid to go to the doctors in case he says I have to stop icing cookies! icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

I know it sounds crazy that we are already thinking of Valentine's day but I bet the stores will have their Valentine's day items out by the end of the first week in January. icon_smile.gif

And we call ourselves crazy icon_lol.gif

My grocery store had moved Christmas to a small section of aisle and already had Valentine's day stuff out the week BEFORE Christmas!!

I was also in Michaels on Friday and they had some Valentine stuff already going out...

I'm definately thinking about Valentine goodies. One of my co-workers wants me to adapt the marshmallow snowman idea to Valentines.

YES Thank Goodness its over!!! I about worked myself into the grave and just when I thought I could catch up on some sleep my 4 year old gets sick just in time for Christmas. I have been up 4 nights in a row with him coughing until he gets sick. UGGH I went out yesterday to get more medication and found a few stores had valentines things out already. I wish I could think that far ahead--- I have a order for 8 dozen cake balls for New Years!!

I am also happy the Christmas cookie season is over!!!
Now I need to think of a way to decorate some heart cookies in a different way. I'm getting a little tired of the "conversation" hearts that I've been doing for a few years.

Happy New Year!!!!!

OMG..you can do a prototype and send it in and take orders!!

and do some extra for those last minute guys..that always leave everything for the last minute

You'd do great as most guys hate shopping and love convinience! lol

So..I'm sure you'd sell out...Price accordingly..conveninece is NOT cheap..no matter waht 7/11 says..lol
