If you are talking about "the" cake lady, the one that's no longer with us, do a search on the wiltons website. Someone recently listed all of her recipes thumbsdown.gif AND there are quite a few people willing to email them to you thumbs_up.gif .

When I did a Wilton search, I came up with this thread that stated her wishes were for her recipes not to be posted on the net:

It appears that there are several people using cakelady, or thecake lady...

I'm a little confused because I did previously post some recipes I found from cakelady.

Some of the recipes are not completet sets.

The Cake Lady--Gladyce
She passed away and left a legacy of recipes.

There are other cake lady's on the forum so yes it is confusing!

She wished never to have her recipes posted, but wanted them sent via email. I received some a while ago from another person in Wilton. If anyone wants them pm me with your email address and i'll forward what I have. But I will respect her wishes and not post them in the forum.

blaquescarlett-were they posted on the Wilton site? If so, could you e-mail the moderators (since you saw them) and ask that they be removed. It was always very clear that her wishes were that they not be posted like that! icon_sad.gif Hopefully they are not the real Cake Lady's recipes!

Moydear -

Just want to check - the one you posted is the actual thread you're sending from? I saw another one where Squirrelycakes said she was "retiring" after the 15th and there were some requests on that one too.

Thanks for taking that over. I know it has to be a huge job - but if her reicpes are half as good as the legend then they are worthy to keep alive in her honor.

Please do not post requests to have the recipes sent to your email.

#1 - you should never publish your email in a post, that is why you can put your email in your profile and then people can use the EMAIL button to contact you, they never actually see the email address. Posting your email address on a forum is an invitation for SPAM.


#2 - Please use the Wilton thread for this specific request, and in other cases, PM the member directly rather than posting a request to have something sent to you. You cannot expect members to come to the same thread everyday to copy down email addresses.
