I don't have these, but would wonder, what is the size of the globe? That should give you an idea of how much space is between the tiers. If it's a 3" ball, then you would probably have about 3" between tiers, much like a 3" grecian pillar, I would think.

I have used these on two wedding cakes!! I loved them!! There was just enough room between the layers. The bride's colors were white and red. I painted the balls red and then had the white cake w/red ribbon around the base and roses on the side.
I will use the globes as often as I can get away with!! They are wonderful!!!
the smallest globe is 2 inches. Its the right amount of space that I am looking for, but I was hoping that someone on here would have used them on a cake so I can get an idea of what it would look like. I dont want to use grecian pillars because it would notlook good with the theme of the cake (for a 1 year old) Otherwise I have to resort to my other option.
Sounds like they would work perfect for what you are wanting to do. They are great because you can paint them a color if you want, they are casual (where the columns are not) and they leave just the right amount of space!!!
