I'm working on something for my aunts bday and she mentioned almonds...so i was planning to make and orange cake with buttercream frosting and for a filling I was going to fold in some orange marmalade into the buttercream and decorate with almonds. Maybe you can do the same with your buttercream. fold in some marmalade and use that as filling. good luck. your cakes sound delish.

They all sound great! Pretty much anything goes with WASC. My favorite is with raspberry filling!

I just made that cake last week for my daughter's birthday. I ended up painting the layers with raspberry jam and filling them with raspberry buttercream. Then I added white chocolate to the remaining (plain) buttercream to decorate the cake with. Yum. icon_lol.gif

But once a friend asked me to make a cake with almond and orange flavor filling. I had to experiment, but I made one with almond paste, and orange zest in a cream cheese icing. It was awesome.
