As a total newbie, what kinds of things do they look for during an inspection?

I assume you're talking about an inspection of your home kitchen?

what a relief, huh?

i had 4 inspectors come in 1 day...

health dept...

building inspector

fire marshall

plumbing inspector

i just stood in the corner and prayed....esp. the building inspector...everyone said he was gonna make me put a big ole vent in....

i just prayed" Lord make him blind to my ventless situation"...and He did!
