There's a post on this forum with the complete directions, but I just stuck two marshmallows on the sticks, without leaving any room at the top. I dipped them in melted white candy melt and stuck them in the styrofoam cake dummy to dry. After I had dipped all of them, I stuck them in the freezer for a few minutes. Then, I took them out and did the faces. I just laid them on parchment and made dots with melted candy melts. After I did all the faces, I stuck them back in the styrofoam cake dummy. Then, I started making the hats. I got a sucker stick, stuck it in a marshmallow and dipped in the chocolate candy melts. Then I placed it on parchment and just wiggled it around in a circular motion to make a little chocolate drip down and make the brim. Does that make sense?? Then I took the stick out and did the next one. The chocolate will melt over the hole you left. I stuck the hats in the freezer for about 3 minutes and then attached them to the snowmen with a little bit of melted candy. These are really very easy and sturdy. I thought they would be fragile, but they held up great and packaged easily.
They turned out great. I am sure the kids loved eating them as well. What did you put them in? So festive and happy!!! ![]()

I loved reading the thread about these. I think they came out great and love the container. Presentation matters and this looks really good. I'd figure 20 pops at $1.50 each (or $2.00 depending on your area) and the container cost. Plus the time to arrange and package individually, that probably took more time than making them.
these are really cute!
These are stuck in a styrofoam dummy and wrapped with wrapping paper.
Cute, cute, cute! And look yumminy too! I could just bite their little heads off! LOL!!!
Gosh nefgaby, that would be so cute making them in little bikinis!! I might have to steal that idea if it's ok!! I'm going to make some more for Christmas for my family because they actually taste pretty good too. I spent about 60 cents each also with the packaging. That's not including the styrofoam cake dummy and the wrapping paper and ribbon. I already had them on hand.
Thanks to everyone for looking and commenting. Comments on my work really go a long way with me. I really mean that!!
he he, Cakesunleashed, I like that word, "yumminy" I'm gonna have to use that! Thanks
I know, little bikinis, sunglasses, beach balls and the whole nine yards, maybe with RI!!!! Wouldn't that be cute! Post some pics if you make them, would love to see them!!
Yep and you are right, with the $0.60 cost, sell them for no less than $2.50, my Mom even said that she would've paid $5 ea. She is in FL as well, down south. HTH
