This was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Just a 6 inch cake, but I really like doing the basketweave. Let me know what you think.

Nice work Crystal. I love basketweave too. I would not have know it was your fist time at it. It truly looks great.

nice job! I love doing the basketweave with flowers on top. I do alot of these for Mother's Day and weddings.

Nice job!!

I've sold three basketweaves in the last 8 years. Nobody around here wants it. Two of the basketweave cakes were "straw hats" that were very cute.

I like basketweave too . . .

I love basketweave too. Looks complicated but you get into the zone and before you know it, the cake is done.

Your cake looks great! I like the top border. Reminds me of a pie crust. Mmm...pie....
