Hi!

I'll be doing a cake for a person who is currently showing her horse at the Quarter Horse World Show. They want to have a party for her when she returns. I need some ideas. Was thinking the cowboy hat or cowboy boots, but any other ideas?

I recently did a cake for a girl who loves horses. I did the bottom tier to look like denim, the top like a bandana, and a fondant horse on top. She loved it. You can see it in my photos. There are so many great ideas on here. Just do a search using 'horse' or 'cowgirl' and you'll see some great photos HTH

hey...not all people who ride horses are "cowgirls" or into country/western themes...you might want to ask a few more questions =)

for instance you would not do cowboy boots for someone who does hunter jumper or dressage....

Right. You really can't progress to the idea stage until you kind of
know what event she's showing in. Biiiiiiig difference between someone
who does H/J and someone who does Western Pleasure or working
horse events. . .or barrel racing. Find out what event(s) she's showing
in at the World. Then I'm sure a couple of us can load you down with
ideas.
