OK I have a cake to move tomorrow eve and it is supposed to be raining cats and dogs. The cake is too tall for a traditional cake box or tupperware cake carrier. There is basket weave and some fondant involved so I am unable to just wrap it. Any ideas would be most appreciated I am in a bit of a bind

you didn't say what size the board is. But you can get a box from the ups store, 16x16x16, 18x18x18 and so forth. tape the top flaps so they stand upright, but cut one side so it drops like a draw bridge. you will have to cover the top with plastic wrap if it is raining, but it should suffice.
