My DS just set on up about a week ago. He has a friend that had moved away and they use it to chat with each other. I was wondering about this Myspace also because of him. But I am usually home when he get on there and our computer is in our living room. So No secrets 
I only looked at turtles site. I will have to cheeck everyone out and have DS or his friend help me set it up. Thanks for all the info this helped alot
It's a great thing because you can find long lost friends and co-workers. I talk to alot of people that I went to high school with that I don't see on a normal basis. What is great about it is you can set your profile on "private" and the only people who can read your profile are people on your friends list. That is what I am doing now. Like I said earlier...it's very addicting!

this is funny - I FINALLY set up a page a few weeks ago!
what I've discovered that it's funny - I've had email addresses of several old friends and we never really chatted over the past few years.
but I found them on myspace and now we exchange messages at least once a week! and get to see pics of kids, friends, family, etc.
I've liked it. It's my newest (additional) addiction. You can do a blog too if you want, post bulletins that go to everyone on your friends list.
I have set mine to private so I don't get a bunch of random messages posted on my page (though you could delete them if that happened). But it's been tons of fun!
just like anything else, if you're careful about what you post OR control who sees your site, nothing awful should come of it.

there are trackers but they dont work. depending on who your isp is sometimes it will tell you the city but my info also showed i was in florida and im in texas. it wont actually show you the people unless they have the same tracker.

It would be neat if there was a way to tell exactly who has viewed your profile. Mine is set on private, but I'd still like to know sometimes...especially when you see how many times your profile has been viewed.

I just want to give a big thanks to all the CC'ers that are on myspace. There are several of you that I exchange comments,etc. with....and it's been such a pleasure!!!! (some of you "cakers" talk to me more than people I've known personally since as far back as when I was 10, lol!)
