i'm new to cake decorating. In fact this site has given me the incentive to try , try.....i hope the qustion does not seem ridiculous...

1) If i have a whipped ganache filling in the cake......can it be on the shelf for a ay or two or does it have to be refrigerated.

2) For that matter other fillingd like puddings, whipping cream with strawberries, do all of them have to be in the fridge???
