I've never tried putting an edible image on anything but buttercream. How would I do it on fondant? Is fondant too dry for the image to stick to it? Does the fondant need to have a little buttercream on it for the image to stick? Or maybe a light mist of water? Or does it not need anything at all? I was thinking of trying a cake similar to this one:

Anyone else have experience with this?

If u dont have printer for edible images, I would use ricepaper and stick it on fondant with clear piping gel. This could work though.

Here's an edible image plaque tutorial:
(But it should work fine for your needs.)
