I am new to cake decorating . don't mind if the question seemd ridiculous!!
Could i frost the cake with whipped cream....u know not the ready made one but the one you make by whipping cream. If you add flavourings , or liquer or sthg to it, it tastes so much better..and soft and creamy..

Love real whipped cream on a cake....only thing is it will need to be refrigerated when you are done. I have done some 'parts' of wedding cakes with the cream. That part was kept in the restaurant's cooler till the last second, brought out and placed on the decorated table with the rest of the cake.
