Next Tuesday my daughter (who is 2) has surgery scheduled. Please think good thoughts for her. I'm not sure how long we will be in the hospital, but I'll let everyone know how she is doing when I have a spare minute. We will be stuck in a immunosuppressant room so I won't have anything to do other than play online or read when she is asleep.

On a side note about what's going on with me...I have just signed up to participate in The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training. I will be doing the Mayor's Marathon in Anchorage, AK near the end of June 2008. Yup, you read that right....my overweight and out of shape self plans to walk in a marathon. I may have lost my mind, but it's for a good cause that touches my family. As soon as I get my webpage set up, I'll add it to my signature.

Your daughter will be in my thoughts and prayers.
