I've never done a doll cake. I'm doing a 50s themed one next month. She'll be wearing a fondant poodle skirt and will be standing on a 8" round double layer cake iced in bc with fondant records for decor. I plan to use a doll pick, but may swap heads with a generic barbie. I hate pricing one I've never done before. Will $50 be too much? Too little?? The customer lives in a higher cost of living community, and I'm just in a small town. Any help would be great!!

I would say that $60.00 would be a good price. I charge $25.00 for the doll cake (the head has to be returned, I provide a ziplock bag with my name on it for this) and $25.00 for the 8 inch round 2 layer cake. Then add $10.00 for the fondant accents.
Hope this helps thumbs_up.gif
