I'm making a cake for my nephew's birthday. I meant to pick up 4 boxes of chocolate cake mix and instead, I bought 3 chocolate and 1 yellow.

The grocery store is closed (live in a small town). Would it be fine to just make a marble cake out of this? Is there any way to do 1/2 chocolate 1/2 yellow (I have an extra box of vanilla mix).

I was going to make WASC using the chocolate cake mix...but I only have 1/2 container of sour cream.

This isn't really a huge deal, I can go to the store in the morning, but I just like hearing people's input. icon_biggrin.gif

I have had that happen and I make the 3 choc. and 1 yellow and mix them all together in a big container, along with a bit of baking cocoa with the dry ingredients and it turns out fine. The amount of choc. seems to cancel out the yellow. Sometimes I have added a box of choc. pudding and that worked too, with a bit of altering.
