Does anyone know of a good tutorial or a good book on how to make clothes for the 3-D figures. I have gotten OK at the figures, (after seeing the wonderful tutorial on here) but I can not figure out how to make outfits. I will be posting a picture later today of a cake I did with figures and the only thing I could do was a t-shirt and shorts, but they did not look very good. Thanks for any directions.

You can probably find fairly good directions in a clay crafting book. Most craft stores have them.

I also suggest the clay books. Onlne you can check out www.polymerclaycentral.com and they have some instructions there also.

I have just recently purchased 2 books:

How To Make Clay Characters by Maureen Carlson
Making Gifts in Polymer Clay by Stacey Morgan

The first book is wonderful on how to do character faces, their clothing, shoes, hair, etc. The second book is a great tutorial for more whimsical characters, animals, etc. I highly recommend both. I have only been practicing on these for a couple of weeks, and have found a new love.
