Help wedding cake experts.

My nice is getting married 400 miles away from my home and Im the baker icon_biggrin.gif . Because of time and distance Im using dummies 14,12,10,8 ,6 in. Im baking sheet cakes to be cut at the party.

HERE ARE MY DESPERATE QUESTIONS:

-  Question any idea on how much fondant to cover the dummies. Ive never done an actual cake with that many tiers (5).

-  Has anyone used luster dust from a spray can, its called creative color?
(I need to use luster dust for ribbon decorations)

I would really appreciate the help!!

Here is the Wilton chart. Allow more, depending on how thick or thin you roll it, and your skill in applying it.

I have used this chart for figuring out amount of fondant and it is pretty accurate for me.

I have not used the spray luster but Emmascakes does on all of her cakes, she may have some pointers for you. I know this was discussed recently in the forums, but I don't remember what the topic was called or anything in it sorry.
