I'm doing dips today (crackers, pretzels, cookies, etc) in Almond Bark. I need it thinner. Should I add veg oil or Crisco?

I would say Crisco, but what about corn syrup?

Solid shortening is best. corn syrup has water-BAD for chocolate.

Crisco is better. I used to use wax also. If at all possible not now but for later get some paramount crystals. They help in thinning chocolate.

Thank you! Crisco is working nicely
