I saw once where someone mentioned a different edible image program other than KopyKake's. Does anyone know of a better program with more options?

If you have a printer for edible inks, almost any program that will print a picture will create an edible image. Cardmaking software, and several design programs are great for edible images.

I couldn't download the kopykake software, so I made my own templates in Adobe Illustrator. With a bit of trial and error, works great!

I've got the Kopykakes one, and don't use it nor the Edible Artist (haven't really tried it out), but I do use Corel Draw to set up my images. Cryssi is right, a good art type program will work, if I can do it, anyone can! LOL Janice
