Do you have pricing for tiered cakes? (ie:wedding/anniv.)
Any cake that is tiered should be priced the same = $$$$ per serving no matter the occasion.
A minimum of $2 per serv. is a good average. Most are $2.50-$3 I think.
A 9"x4" cake serves 32; a 6"x4" serves 8-10 so I would say nothing less than $75-90 for the castle.
Well IMO, that cake would serve 40, and at my base price of $2.50 per serving - $100
this is a very nice cake! I am curious to find out if it might be worth more than $70....
I have not yet sold any cakes in my life but according to the Wilton guide, the 6 inch tier would serve 12 people and the 9 inch tier would serve 32++ (mainly because of the additional layer)... That comes out to be 44 servings plus the decor....
I am curious what the experts say
It all depends on your area on how much to charge...remember you are not Wal-Mart!
I would charge at least $50 or more.
i would charge between $40.00 - $70.00
$15.00 $35.00 for the 10inch and $10.00 for the decoration.
$80-90 is what i would charge. Im working on a slightly smaller castle cake for saturday (using wilton castle kit) and for that one i charged $72. customer didn't bat an eye.
