Help, Fresh Flowers???

what's the best way to attach fresh flowers to cake? i'm doing a 4 tiered cake, 2 dummies and 2 real cakes. do i have to poke holes into the dummies 1st?

If you want to insert the flowers into the dummy, yes, you need to make holes first. It might be easier to trim the flower very close to the base of the blossom and put it on a bit of waxed paper on the cake.

Unless the flowers are grown pesticide free they should not touch the cake.

For the cake layers, you can wrap the stem to insert it, or use a straw, inserted into the cake to hld the flower.
