While in Tulsa, OK, I discovered that my haunted gingerbread barn made the cover of Mail Box News! Due to an address change, I had not been getting my subscription, so I had no idea. It was a great surprise when I was talking to Kim from ACD.
This was one of my favorite pieces. By the time it made it to the Tulsa show last year, it was falling apart. I got first place for it. The more it fell apart, the better it looked. 
It looked like I had worked really hard to get it to look like a dilapidated barn. All I had to do was keep it from totally collapsing before judging! 
Anyway, I have been very excited that some of my work made the cover of something! ACD and MBN have been really terrific to me. I can't thank them enough.
