I need to make a spookie chocolate tree for a haunted house made out of ch. sugar cookie. I have the wilton large leaf confetti and thought "wow, wouldn't that be cool if I could find a way to make a chocolate tree.?!" I've heard you guys talk about chocolate plastic but wasn't sure. I've tried to semi-melt tootsie rolls and shape them but they wouldn't harden. any idea's?

I saw one on a cake where the tree was wire dipped in chocolate (probably candy melts)- hopefully someone else will have better suggestions.

You will need to make a form out of wire, maybe the trunk out of PVC pipe and cover it with modeling chocolate. I know I have seen a recipe in the forum

Do you actually want to eat the tree? If not, I can tell you how to make one out of wire & fondant/gumpaste.
