Should I assume when baking in a convection oven you don't have to rotate cake pans?
Normally, no. however, they all bake a bit differently. Some have found that the fan pushes on the baking cake, making a slanted top. If the fan is adjustable, you can fix that.Try a couple layers for a test for your oven.
