Can You Mix Old And New Icing??

I have made a 1/2 a batch of new but have a 1/2 batch of the same flavor (no coloring in either) can I mix them together??

Funny you should ask as I just did that yesterday. Had left over cream cheese icing from the weekend and mixed it with my new batch. I do it all the time if its the same icing cause I freeze all my left over icing so its always good to have that bit extra and no waste icon_biggrin.gif
