This is my first sculpted cake covered in fondant. It's supposed to be a Mercedes covertible. I'm not sure I like it. My husband says it looks like a Fisher-Price Little People car icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif I am hating him right now!What do you all think?

My DH would be as moved by a twinkie as by a handcrafted sugar sculpture. Lovely man, but no 'eye' for this stuff.

I think your creation rocks! Love the details & colours. Excellent!

I love it too. I think you did an awesome job! Don't ever expect anything nice to come out of your DH's mouth about your cakes, and you'll never be disappointed! Ha!

Thanks all for all the great comments it makes me feel better!! To get the flip effect I use the Microsoft Picture it program because I need to shrink the size (and its the only way I know) go to -photo projects - then to- animations and there is an option for a flip book.

Thanks, I painted the whole car with black and clear extract to get it shiney.
