I don't know a thing about baking but have a special project that calls for a cookie that is very smooth (no cracking on the surface), very light in color and doesn't rise or expand very much when baked.

Any help would be appreciated.

The No Fail Sugar Cookie recipe on this site fits the bill. Here's the link.

Thanks for replying. The link takes me to cupcakes and I did not see the cookie recipe.

I don't know how to add a link to the recipe but if you go to recipes and type in no fail sugar cookies then click search it will give you the recipe.[/url]

Got it. Thank you very much. I will give this a try. It does sound exactly like what I'm looking for.
