What are some good instructional books that teaches how to model characters?

There are several good modeling books in the clay section of the craft stores. Same technique, different medium.

Also, I am looking for any tips on modeling characters. I would love to start incorporating this art into my cake decorating.

All of Debbie Brown's books are awesome and have really detailed instructions on how to model figures.
