I was wondering if this is possible.

I'd like to use the wonder mold and instead of using a doll pick, try making a person out of gumpaste/fondant mix. I guess I'd just mold it around a skewer? Has anyone tried this before? I've never made a figure. I'm wondering if I'm being too confident - maybe this is too hard!

confidence will get you everywhere......

Your idea should work.. I would use a mix of 50/50 gumpaste/fondant.

I would make the head and body seperatly let dry (more than 24 hrs) and attach to each other. Then depending on the postion of the arms I would make them and attach whilst still soft and shape into position...using paper towel or something similar to prop in place (if needed)
