Pink And Brown--Still A Good Color Combo?

I'm starting the 3rd of 6 cake dummies for the bridal fest in January and thinking of doing a light rose/chocolate brown cake next.
Our trend thread seemed to indicate that pink and brown are still a great combo for 2007--what do you guys think? Yes?
Good to hear. I'll probably start it tomorrow. It's a 6, 10, 14" square, and I'm designing it with pale pink icing (royal, to resemble bc), on the whole cake, then chocolate brown vertical "stripes" every 1" on the top and bottom tiers, with the middle tier just the pink with some small scroll work in the brown.
Will post pics when done with all.
Thanks
I did a pink/brown cake not too long ago. 3 tiers iced in chocolate fudge with pink decorations (there's a pic of this cake in a wilton book, which is what the bride saw when she made her selection). Her groomsmen wore brown tuxes and the girls wore pink. It looked great!
Sounds like it's going to be great and the colors are still extremely popular so no worries!
I have a pink and brown wedding for next year already.
Pink and brown seem to still be popular. Our bridal fair is in February.
I am going to start new displays this weekend.
I was in Hobby Lobby and realized there is an enormous supply of new styles and colors of those trendy pottery/glass nick nacks. I am going to use some of those for my displays.
I fear doing anything in pink, because of fading! This past spring I made a really cute cake with a lot of hot pink designs and it all faded to almost white.
