I just wanted CC to know that I am very sorry that I posted the topic "Why do you upload your cakes". I apparently offended a couple of people and that wasn't my intent. REALLY. It was a question that I thought needed to be answered. I love this community and don't want to be shunned out of it and if anybody on here has run into me in recent topics or have seen my posts should know that I try to be kind all of the time. Yesterday I guess was just a bad day. I haven't been one to start a nasty topic and I regret the one I started the night before. Please if you would find it in your kind hearts to forgive me I would greatly appreciate it!! My intent was not to hurt anybody like I said and if I did I am sorry icon_sad.gif . I don't work my life like that, I promise.

Pleading forgiveness

Christi

The fact that you publicly apologized about possibly offending someone speaks volumes about you. I'm sure all of us have offended someone at one point or another....it's destined to happen on the internet.

Let's move on to cakes!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Hmm, I read your original post and maybe I'm missing something here... I didn't read anything offensive or rude. icon_confused.gif In any event, it was big of you to issue an apology if you felt one was needed. thumbs_up.gif

i read it all yesterday and i dont' think you were rude or offensive...it was a very nice way of saying your feelings were hurt....(well that is what i got from it) and that people don't need to mean if they dont' want to or can't or don't have time for you right then and there!!!! i always look forward to the kind and funny things you have to post to others!!!! dont' worry...those that did take offense...well perhaps they have guilty consciences!!!!! i don't know!!! have a great day!!!!!
ps. yesterday was just a bad day in general...you weren't the only one!!!!!!

Your apology is accepted. You don't always know when you post something how some people are going to take it. Sometimes they laugh it off...sometimes they explode. I know I have given my opinion (and that is all it ever is, I don't know all the answers, I just have opinions) and someone will come on and make me feel like I started the 3rd World War. We don't expect everyone to agree with us....just listen to our side.
I think you are nice.

I second Adven68's comment: it takes a special person to realize an error and make proper amends.

Make cakes, not war!!! icon_lol.gif
To be honest, just today I read someones reply on a different subject that I thought was truley mean and rude thumbsdown.gif . We all have bad days, I had a bad day too yesterday, ate a whole box (almost) of Lil Debbie cakes (gross) but if I didn't eat something sweet and packed with sugar, someone was going to get hurt icon_evil.gif ! (You all know what I mean ladies..)

When I read it I thought it was a good question. It may be something some have been wondering and just never asked.

I just want you to know you have never offended me and I read the whole post and did not find anything offensive or rude (like the others have said) in your question. I actually wondered myself...

You have always had encouraging and helpful words to say and I truly appreciate that!! thumbs_up.gif Please don't let anything anyway has said hurt your feelings!!!

Hi Christi (Mother of Big Babies), icon_smile.gif

Didn't catch that thread (as I don't upload cakes on a regular basis).

I've always found you to be helpful, good-natured (and humorous, when appropriate) in your posts.
You're on my buddy list.

And your public apology (to anyone who might have been offended) is a big deal; if I was miffed I couldn't be now:

He that cannot forgive others, breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass if he would ever reach heaven; for everyone has need to be forgiven.

Thank you all!! I just didn't want the ones that I did offend to feel as though I am a mean spirited person..as I am not. I should of worded things different and actually THOUGHT about things before I posted *roll* . Sometimes @$$ speaks before mouth thinks lol <---- don't know where I heard that from but it has stuck with me. I do have a soft heart at times I let things get to me that really I shouldn't ESPECIALLY on here where you don't really know the tone or the attitude of the poster. And sometimes things get blown wayyyy off into left field when really it was meant to be taken a different way. I am soooo guilty of not using the side of my brain that says " Christi the way you took that was probably all wrong!" (not that I talk to myself LOL)

I really do admire and appreciate all of you..all for different reasons ...

Please know that if I EVER offend anybody you are more then welcome to PM me and tell me so...I would rather know that I had upset someone then not. That would give me a real chance to think about it and to promptly apologize. That means a lot to me.

As far as I'm concerned, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen...
then all of us would get skinny from not baking!! LOL
Then we'd all have a REAL problem.
