Who Doesn't Want To Save Some Time...

so i was making some cookies today. i usually use the disposable bags for the outlining, because i only need a little bit and it's hard to use the squeeze bottles for 'just a little bit' of icing. i made my entire batch of RI thick for outlining, and divided it and colored it all. i put the super thick icing into the bottles, as i was out of the bags , and outlined all the cookies with the different colors. instead of squeezing all the icing out, which i have done before to thin it out , i just put a few drops of water into each bottle and used the cookie bouguet sticks to get down deep enough to stir it around. well, guess what- IT WORKED! This may not be BIG for most of you, but i'm sure excited! saved me tons of time.... Figured i'd post in case anyone else has been fussing over the the whole bottles-bags-consistencies thing! (unless it was just me.....lol )
Don't you love it when stuff like that happens. I am not partial to the bottles I love my piping bags and parchment, but I do love a great tip.
Thanks for sharing and happy cookies!!
