I have a request for a present cake with a stand up fondant red bow. My problem is I haven't the vaguest idea how to price the bow. I didn't weigh the fondant last time I made one, so I don't know how much it takes. Have any of you a price you use for this? I would use Satinice fondant.

The bow is like the one I have in my photos, like the tutorial on this site.

Any help is appreciated, I haven't the foggiest what to tell her!

I've never made one but I remember reading that some people charge and extra $5-10 for adding a bow.

If you are using SatinIce again, the minimum I would charge for an 8" square gift box would be $15, but that is going with local prices for the fondant.
