I don't post here alot, but have been since 2005, which is how long we have been waiting to adopt a child from China. My ticker has now, changed from how long we have waited, to how much longer we wait to go get him.
Praise God it's a boy DOB 2-18-07 from Jiangsu, China

Thant is exciting and wonderful. I take it from the ticker message that you are naming him Jackson? It surprised me to hear it was a boy, I thought China only allowed adoption of girls.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. And here he is. I think he's propped up on a toy icon_rolleyes.gif Look at his tiny toes. How cute! The wait will 2-4 months before we can travlel to get him icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif Pray for him, and for God speed.

He is so precious!!! Congratulations! It is hard to be sure from the picture - is he cleft palette? I have lurked on a special needs China adoption email list for 5 years and have fallen in love with many cleft babies on that list. It is soooo wonderful to watch them get adopted and come home. DH and I are not eligible for adopting from China icon_cry.gif or else I'd be pestering him for our own little guy. Instead I just get to celebrate vicariously as other families get to have them... I really am SO happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heart is bursting for you!! My son was born 6-6-05 with a rather large CL & CP, so I can speak from experience when I tell you... your little man is GORGEOUS!!
