Hi all,
I will be traveling soon on a plane and was wondering with the new carry on regulations, will I be able to bring cookies on with me? I will have no other carry on except my purse. I know they are strict now, but can use some help if anyone has it!

Thanks a million, icon_smile.gif

AS long as you aren't traveling out of the country, there shouldn't be any problem. I fly with cookies (in my carry on) several times a year.

I've taken cookies on a plane...they're right...needs to be "in country". Have them boxed (no foil) but don't have them taped too secure or you'll have to open them up for sure!!! Just make sure the box is within the size guidelines. Good luck.

Thank so much everyone, I'm going to visit friends and of course they want cookies!!!!!!!! I was hoping I was going to be able to, now lets just hope that the security people don't want to eat them before I get on the plane! icon_wink.gif

I work for TSA, there is no problems taken food in plane in this case cookies, just make sure they can see what you are taking with you and no aluminum foil in the box or any thing in between the cookies that can obtruct the x-ray machine operator to see what's in the box, you should be fine, good luck!!!!

Just make sure you put the box of cookies in the overhead and out of the way. When you put them by your feet the cookies have a tendency to get eaten. icon_wink.gif

My mom just did it & didn't have any problems. They were wrapped in cello bags. Have a safe flight.
