I would like to try my hand at air brushing, but I don't want to pay $200.00 for the equip., can you use any air brush with the cake color or does it have to be a machine made for cakes? Thanks

As long as it is brand new, and is only used with food color, you can use any airbrush. there a lots of cheap ones to try your hand.

when you say a set, do you mean brush, hose, and compressor? Doudle action brushes are much much better than single action. You will probably want a gravity feed and not a bottom feed. Gravity feed you can use a drop of color at a time. Bottom feed uses much more color just to reach the siphon. If it is the one I looked up, remember that it will not do a line smaller than 1/4 inch. This means no detail work.

You will want a option for lower PSI cuz you wouldn't want to blow a hole in your frosting. icon_biggrin.gif Look for something that can do around 10-12 PSI.....
