There are 2 auctions/fundraisers in town this weekend. One for a mom of 3 who has cancer and another for 2 policemen that recently lost their houses due to flooding. I was thinking of donating a platter or 2 to each auction. My problem is I am new to cookie decorating and I wonder if my cookies will be good enough. I was going to use NFSC and Antonia's Icing, however my decorating skills are basic. Should I attempt this knowing the cookies will taste good but look so-so? Should I put my name on the platter or list ingredients? I've never done anything like this before. TIA ![]()
Yes, do it! I am sure they will look great, and it is a wonderful guesture of kindess.
Go for it! I'm doing the same thing for a man with cancer that cannot pay for his treatment. A friend is doing a golf tournament fundraiser with a silent auction and I'm donating a cheesecake. Your cookies will be a nice change from the usual stuff they get I bet.
Don't forget to post pictures! ![]()
I would definately do it!!!! They won't care that they aren't perfectly decorated all they will worry about is the way they taste!!! ![]()
