Hi to all-
I have been lurking in this sight for about a month and finally posted my first post in the last week. I am amazed at the talent on this site!! (Duckychickenlady- your cakes are awesome!! -hats off from another Cheryl!!). This is a relatively new hobby for me, only about ten months, after a friend gave me the first class as a birthday gift last year. Boy did I get hooked fast!! 
I work at a large school for special needs kids and between the school and my family (I have three teenagers), I am very cake busy!!

Ok- this is going to be a dumb question- How do you go about downloading pictures to this site? I have pictures saved to disc from my digital camera- can I download from those?

Okay - in answer to your question.....how to Upload your pictures......
Under the HOME TAB in the middle of the page were it says your screen name and Welcome back ....
Click on UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO (it is pink lettering)
Under the cake decorating photo galleries in same location as last page....
Click on UPLOAD YOUR PICTURERE and read all the Cake Central Information then go to the lower part of the middle of the page
Next to ALBUM
Click the ARROW
Pick the gallery that best fits your cake
Click BROWSE
Insert your disk and find photo under your DVD Drive (sometimes Drive D) Double click to add it.
Under TITLE
Type your photo name
Under DESCRIPTION
Tell us about the cake
Under KEYWORDS
Type in key words to enlist others searching for a cake like yours.
Then click UPLOAD PICTURE Button
PM me if you have problems........
Oh edited to add, if you are using a flash drive in the USB port or memory stick from your camera directly just make sure your computer has a port to take it...... I was assuming you had everything burned on a DVD.
