will it be ready by Wednesday night? Or should I remake it and add gumpaste to it?

Also, is it possible to have a bow on the side of a cake, not the top, or is it to heavy?

Well fondant is fragile. Be very careful when putting on the cake. Personally I would redo and add 50 percent gumpaste to my fondant.

Now for the side of the cake......

Is your cake round? If so, then I put my bows inside the same size cake tin to take on a curved shape (unless of course I am not going for that look.)
