It is my priests birthday and he has asked me to make his birthday cake. I am uncertain how to decorate it/ should I put anything religious on it flowers??? This is for the 8th of December... I am thinking roses and ivy as he is celebrating the day with his mother and men are generally really impressed with the flowers, help!!!...

I wouldn't think you would have to put anything religious on it. I am an accountant and wouldn't want dollar signs on my birthday cake. 
I like the roses and ivy idea.
